How Does Cold Plasma Works
Issued on behalf of EcoAir
London - April 18, 2011 --Cold Plasma - plasma is formed when a modulated electric field is applied to a pair of electrodes. Oxygen molecules in the air that come into contact with the plasma break down into reactive oxygen species (ROS). Organic substrates such as bacteria, viruses and mould spores that are exposed to these broken down oxygen molecules are destroyed or rendered harmless on contact. Therefore the air becomes free of bacteria and viruses. Plasma is able to dramatically reduce the population of E-Coli, Salmonella Choleraesuis, Staphylococcus Aureua and Candida Albicans in the air. Cold plasma kills bacteria by damaging their DNA and surface structures without being harmful to human tissues.
Ecoair Systems include a range of wall mounted heat pump air conditioning with the Cold Plasma Technology. For the full range, see http://ecoair.org/Cold-Plasma-Inverter-Air-Conditioning.html
EcoAir supplies air treatment products such as dehumidifier, heat pump air conditioning, portable air conditioning and air purifier. Ecoair leads the desiccant dehumidifier innovation by introducing a series of dessicant dehumidifers including electronic and manual control systems.
EcoAir selects its air conditioning and dehumidifiers by carefully taking into account the impact on the environment. EcoAir is constantly researching and developing new products that are more environmentally friendly. We do not carry products that contain harmful gasses that are banned by the EC directive.
