ECO DD122FW Classic Desiccant Dehumidifier

PRICE: From £129

Stamp Out Damp

A well-built brand new home won't need the services of a dehumidifier (except to dry out new plaster and concrete), but there are plenty of older damp homes where such an appliance comes into its own.

Not only does a dehumidifier stamp out damp, it can also reduce heating bills.

EcoAir's Desiccant is smaller than most of other models. As well as being lighter and quieter - it relies on desiccant technology rather than a noisy compressor - it releases no dangerous gases and purifies the air with its built-in ioniser.

The desiccant works efficiently at low relative humidity, where temperature may fall below 10°C and is aimed at those living in two to five bedrooms home and apartments and those with workshops, garages, boats and caravans. Prices start from £129. (Extracted from Self Building & Design - December 2010 Issue pp. 79)
